The North York Moors produces some of the very best art and craft work in the country and whether you are looking for wrought iron or watercolours, candles or ceramics you are bound to find something to please here. As you travel through the area, spare a thought for the hard work and skill that has gone into laying the hedges and building the drystone walls that criss-cross the landscape. It has taken generations of hard labour to create these picturesque and charming features so please take care not to damage them, simply by using the gates and stiles provided.
