Walking and rambling

There are walks for those simply wanting to work off the excesses of their lunch and walks that are not for the feint hearted.
In the due course of time we will bring you details and maps of the approved paths.

Two major walks warrant special note, these are the Cleveland Way which runs along the whole length of the cliffs as it passes through the Esk Valley, and the Lyke Wake Walk which follows the high ground along the southern boundary of the valley.
