Arable cropsIn August and September the corn usually ripens and combine harvesters can be seen trundling along country roads going from one field to another to harvest the wheat or barley. Increasingly now Oil Seed Rape is grown as an arable crop. This is easily recognisable as a crop when the flowers are in bloom as the field is a very bright yellow. |
