There is a multitude of books to chose from and although we appreciate the attraction of the Internet we fully support the writen word and have therefore included this section to provide you with reviews of some books that we think you will find enjoyable as you relax after a busy day in the Esk Valley.

Many local guide books are available as are books covering the history, geology, folklore and wildlife of the Esk Valley and the North York's Moors and we hope to obtain copies so that we can review them for you.
